As managing principal of Aero Marketing Group (AMG), Jason Altzman oversees the specialty event and promotional agency’s day-to-day operations. These include managing sales, client relations, and interagency teams. In his leisure time, Jason Altzman enjoys the work of author Ben Mezrich.

Mezrich created the nonfiction narratives The Accidental Billionaires and Bringing Down the House. These works inspired the films The Social Network and 21, respectively. The author’s latest book, which details the scientific community’s quest to bring the woolly mammoth back from extinction, is also set to become a feature film.

Woolly: The True Story of the Quest to Revive One of History’s Most Iconic Extinct Creatures details the real-life saga of scientists trying to resurrect the long-extinct woolly mammoth by injecting DNA from the mammoth into modern-day elephant embryos. Fox and Temple Hill purchased the film rights to the written work.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the film will be directed by Oscar Sharp, who is best known for his short films, “The Karman Line,” and “Sign Language.”
